This must have bamboo is one of the most beautiful tropical bamboos available and one of the only "shade tree" bamboos in our inventory. It is fast growing, insect resistant, drought tolerant and stunning! The canopy is very large compared to the base area, our 6 year old plant has a 5 foot diameter base and a 30' canopy! The canes are covered with a beautiful white powder when young, then turn to an unusual jade green with a dark green stripe as the powder wears off. The contrasts and colors never stop with this one!  It may reach 25-30' in height with 3" diameter canes.
